Your Memories

Do you have a story to tell about living, working or growing up in Craven? Is there an untold history that you think people should know about?

Staff and volunteers at Craven Museum are collecting the incredible untold stories of local people. This is a call-out for oral history participants who have a unique memory or experience to share about living in Craven. Have you explored the caves and hills of Craven? Perhaps you have knowledge of traditional farming techniques or memories of working in the mills. You might have owned a local business or taught in a Craven school. Do you remember market days and visiting the cinemas?

We are looking for stories from across Craven, past and present. We want to meet people from all different backgrounds and walks of life to talk with our team about their unique life experiences and memories of Craven. We want to build up a picture of the people who have lived and worked in Craven.

For those wishing to take part there may be the opportunity to formally record your Oral History.
